It's been a while...

Man I haven't blogged in years...

And all my friends have been pushing me to starting blogging for ages... Especially one of my close friends MisterAwesome.

So Why I'm blogging now?
If you guys don't know I have a gillion sticky notes on my desktop about different stories about my life, and little things I think about over the years from the next big idea, to... well brain farts.

[*insert excessive amount of stick notes on desktop image*]

However, every 2 years my laptop crashes so I lose all my great and horrible ideas on my desktop to Futureshop... [No offence to Future shop, but they always save the wrong memory files for me when it crashes... waste of 100.00$...] So I decided, might as well put my ideas online, and if anybody loves them, go ahead and bring them to life, but I would love to see how that idea grows.

Ex. I created an idea after Start up weekend 3 in Ottawa, I created the Rape Whistle app.
An app that allows the user to access the app on the lock screen, with one click of the button an alarm that's super loud would ring to stop someone from harassing you for 2-5 seconds for you to run away. If the alarm lasts longer than 1 minute, then it will automatically call the police station.

Now this app seems amazing, but there are flaws.
1) iPhones and any phone in general cannot produce sounds that loud. imagine if you're in a club. There's no way in hell a phone can make such a loud noise in it for anyone to hear.
2) Or outside, sound can only reach so far...
3) What if there's no signal.

I was going to pursue this idea with my friend Brandon C. Who use to work for Deloitte, but found a bigger passion for app development... BTW he's doing really well last time I heard... I think....
But we decided once the app was invented, Apple or google could easily replicate the app and avoid copy rights from me with a small change in the app -_-.

Funny story is, a month later I posted this idea on Twitter, someone actually created the app... I hate them.  Anywho, that shows you need passion inorder to make something happen... But sadly I didn't. There are things I'm passionate about, but I'll blog about that another time.

Anyways I got carried away there... Now that I'm working full time in the summer, I have less time to create videos, which I have a direr passion for... but making videos are hard to do when its a passion than a job. Which has been one of my biggest regrets of my life, mixing video production with a job... Sometimes you can't do something you love as a job, or you will learn to hate it... But that will be another blog too..

Hot dam this is long. But I have to finish eating a giant 10 pound bag of popcorn, and finish writing some emails for work, so I'll end off with this.
From this date forth, I will blog hopefully daily, but certainly weekly about my life, and things I think about over the time from now til I graduate University, so hopefully you will follow my blog and I promise I will never tell a dull story... because life gives me weird things to experience...
