Why are your Pants down Sam? [Spun Out Studio Audience]

So... some of my friends were wondering, "Why da f*ck are you pants down Sam?"

Well here's a picture of where I was.
This picture of Pinewoods Studio, located on the east side of Toronto. This is where so many shows were produced, and next week we are watching a show called "MatchGame... which looks pretty bad from what I've seen [the contestants look unenergetic... but eh maybe I'm wrong]. Now what does this picture have to do with anything? Well see the guy in the middle... we'll talk about him at the end of the blog.

So when we walked in, it was Jerk Chicken, Pat, Z and Vina. We were met by a nice asian girl who directed us inside. We thought we were going to be late so we rushed, but the studio was empty... well not really. When we walked in half the studio was full. FUTURE REFERENCE, good seats, come 1.5 hours early. + Personally I hate studio audiences who come to every filming session, its a piss off and you ruin other people from having a chance to be a fan. Especially when you personally don't like the show [Some of those people pissed me off... like just cause its free don't abuse it for others] That's why I didn't get tickets for this Friday, and I got a last minute call for Tuesday.

I should take a step back, so when you do studio audiences the process starts with, DON'T USE GMAIL. You need to use an email that you can reply with a new title.
After that lalala you can read my other blog about it. But at the end, they offered me seats for the next day which I panicked thinking who da hell do I ask. But ye the whole crew from Spunout were super cool about it.

So we finally make it to the set. Some guy was singing on his guitar and we sat waiting for... well Z came late and we wanted pizza. This will be the first of many convos of Pizzas in this blog. We got to watch the pilot episode and the trailer for Spunout. To be honest, my rating for the Pilot was 7/10. It was decent, but its nothing special. There are three characters lovable in the series. Gordon, Bryce, and the guys ex gf. The rest weren't as memorable due to their scripts, the actors themselves play it perfectly, but the pilot felt a bit empty. Why would I say that? Well the episode they filmed the day of, made me shut up those words.

Life of a Studio Audience
Here is my experience of being a studio audience.
1) You need to be loud to be heard on recording. I tried, it was hard but I am sure u can hear me high pitch laugh once in a while
2) It is HARD to laugh on command, like wtf. WHY IS IT SO HARD. After you watch a scene twice its kinda expecting. BUT, Darcy Michael [Who I LOVE] was a big reason why its fun to rewatch scenes as he changed his lines several different times. [I can't say too much or CTV will shut my blog down!]
3) If you laugh by yourself, you feel like an idiot
4) I tried saying AWWW but no one would let me!
5) There will and ALWAYS will be that loud manly laugh in the audience.
6) Trying to clap to a song is hard. Papa Steve and me screwed up SOOO HARD. We actually got everyone to clap, then we lost rhythm and we gave up. It sounded like a broken truck. OR the time I break danced infront of Bob Mcferrin, March 27, 2010 [Had to FB reference that] BTW bob was actually the original writer to "Don't worry be happy". Bob said to some people, "No no no, white people stop clapping you can't catch a rhythm".

Now on with the show, the show was hosted by some guy from MTV... Ye if you don't know I heckled him a bit at the show... to the point where he kinda hates me. To be honest, he wasn't a great host... he was pretty douchie at some parts and enjoyed empowerment too much telling us he would never give us pizza unless we cooperate -_- [Like really? We're not kids man... We can kick your ass, Mob style]. But that's just me, some people love him, he was OK but when you're a host you should make everyone feel like they belong, not the god dam same ppl who come see the airing every week -_-

So the scene in the image above is actually one of the scenes of Darcy Michael's classic move, his pants off. It was hilarious when I first saw it. Dave Foley was also great but... I think he hates me now too, I'll explain later. Anyways, every time they changed scenes, the host would do a raffle... we lost everytime -_-. But ye it was interesting for Darcy to do "Looping".
Next song that will be stuck in your heard
"I put the lotion in the basket"
"The Cat Says Woof Woof"

After that I was eager to do something crazy for today, so when the host asked, "Do you have any questions?" I asked, "CAN I HUG DARCY MICHAEL"

Host: ... is it your birthday
me: No
Host: i doubt then... he only hugged Will S. ... So I doubt
me: *frown* ok....

A while later Dave Foley and Darcy Michael sat in the audience to watch the show being filmed. Those two are the most interactive actors in the show in my opinion if they are happy to sit with the audience and joke around. Especially when some were Darcy's friends and family. At one point someone told Darcy, "Hey that kid over there wanted to hug you!"
Darcy said, "Hey are you him?
me: YEAHHHHH

So right after that I jumped out of my seat and gave him the most hardest hug I ever gave.
Panel 1: I jumped out of my seat and tackled him
Panel 2: I held on to him screaming THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER
Panel 3 Darcy told me to let go.

But ye I'm not a crazy fan, but I thought it would be nice for an actor to know he has a fan ready to create a fan base for him. It was a good laugh and everyone really felt that Darcy was a great actor. I really respect Darcy, and you will see why later on.
So the show is a PR agency, and they did screw up a bit, which was hilarious at some takes. I think the best part about the studio audience was really hanging with my friends cause we all did have a good laugh. But here came the reason I hate MTV guy.

MTV: OK SO NO ONE GETS PIZZA, Im kidding, PPL U WILL SOON
this was first of many many times he said it, like 20 -_-
When it came it was cold, and I tried to gobble it all down to get more, but none [They were like Cracker sizes...]
Anywho, at one point the MTV guy said, "Ok this guitar is AMAZING, who wants to buy his CD for 15, 20, 25??????"
Me: RAFFLE IT!
MTV: Ok Whose the cheap bastard that said that.
An hour later, Ok there are people I hate in the audience, him, her and HIM [points at me]
Me: ... well I didn't expect that.

I also started heckling little things but I don't recall, but he hates me now.

After the show I can safely say, Episode 8 was an 8/10. If you want a good laugh, it's a good show. The main character reminds me of Ted Mosby, while the best friend is Barney's real life personality [A seemingly straight- gay man]. Gordon and Bryce are the two characters that push the story while Dave Foley's character is the reason the show has a life.
If you want to try Canada's FIRST comedy made by 3 cameras, this should be a good taste.
As one of the famous quotes were, "I have to do a PR spin from North Korea to No-Ko"

So after filming  we got to meet the cast, so I RAN MY ASS THERE. I got everyone's autograph, including the director's which was hilarious. The first photo of the blog is a picture with him.

I personally think Holly Deveaux and Al Mukadam were nice when I met them in person, but Darcy Michael.... man it was hilarious.

But before I talk about my final encounter with Darcy, the director and I had a talk. I requested before if I could have the script Will Sasso's character wrote about a vampire banging a werewolf, but he said we couldn't. Instead I got the LEGIT script for episode 8 signed by Brian Roberts the producer!

Now that's a good night, oh wait, I ran up to Darcy and I told him I wanted a legit photo. So since you saw before in the previous image of him taking his pants off. I decided, when he becomes famous, I will be the first one to be pantsless with him.

Yesterday was a good day.
